Sophie Giot-Wirgot

Sophie Giot-Wirgot graduated in dental science from UCL (UCLouvain), where she also earned a specialist certificate (CES) in paediatric dentistry. She qualified as a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics at Paris IV University in 2004, a degree recognised by the Belgian state in 2007. From 2003 to 2014 she worked as a hospital practitioner in several Brussels hospitals (HUDERF, CHU Saint-Pierre, César de Paepe). She practises with passion and patience and continues to train internationally.

Michal Charezinski, orthodontist at Somi Smile

Orthodontist

Michal Charezinski

Michal Charezinski graduated in dental science from ULB (Université libre de Bruxelles), held a Cambridge scholarship in anthropology and qualified as a specialist in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopaedics in 2005. He was deputy head of clinic at Erasme Hospital until 2016. He practises orthodontics with discipline and precision while continuing to train internationally. A speaker for various societies and a clinical supervisor, he enjoys sharing his knowledge.

Some orthodontic treatments go hand in hand with speech therapy. Nathalie Hakem works with the practice to provide this follow-up.

Their exclusive orthodontic practice takes into account every factor that affects the long-term stability of treatment. They readily work with other disciplines: periodontics, paediatric dentistry, implantology, speech therapy, physiotherapy and maxillofacial surgery.

This rigour never loses sight of the human side: they take the time, with great patience, to discuss every aspect of treatment with patients and their families.
